Reminds me of a nautilus… Just wish Tag Heuer would re-brand it's high end watches to just "Heurer".

I really like the 43mm Aquaracer with black ceramic bezel, what are your thoughts on the plasic movement holder in these watches. I've read a few negative comments on them it's kind of put me off tbh

cheap eta movements in tag…who wanna wear a tag anyway? they are just marketing.beside that its nothing.just copy of seiko movements or putting cheap standard eta movements inside…disgusting..

I have the calibre5 version nonchrono. and I agree this is the type of watch that Tag needs to make. they really did a great job on this design.
i also have the blue omega aquaterra and it really pairs well as they have this very similar designesque feel to them. but the Omega wears slightly better on my wrist. but this Tag really is impressive for the price point.

Great review. I bought this watch last summer and I can't believe it flew under the radar like it did for a lot of watch lovers. I was a bit biased against Tag's from all the bashing in most of the forums but it caught my eye the first time I saw it and couldn't pass up the price I was able to get it at.

I've considered selling it a few times to fund a Black Bay but it's just such a complete piece – Sporty, dressy enough for business casual, masculine, water resistant, reliable and just different and blingy enough to catch some attention and stand out. After watching your review I think I love my cay2112 more than ever and so glad I never sold it.

hi there. Thank you for posting this, it's given me a lot more interest in this watch after watching it!
How much did you pay for it and where did you get it from? You mentioned that there is a newer version of this watch? Didn't you just buy it a few weeks back?
    Thank you
